Security devices for shaft lift:
Emergency brake, securing the cage (cabin) from fall in case the rope is broken;
Backup rope (instead of the emergency brake in case the load is heavy);
Cabin doors block - it is impossible to open the doors, if the cage (cabin) is not at this storey, it is impossible to call/dispatch the cage (cabin) if the shaft doors are open;
Goods elevators used to transport freight inside of the self-supporting metal frame shaft in vertical direction. The hoist can be installed either into already existing shaft, or designed especially in accordance with currently being constructed/designed shaft.
So what is a frieght elevator? Generally speaking it is the analogue of a service lift. But the main difference is that the control boards are located outside of the cabin, not inside, since the sole assignment is freight lifting. Thus the freight can be transported without any guidance.
The basis of the goods elevator is the vertical metal frame construction, rectangular in section. The cargo cage moves inside of it. This construction is made of the metal shaped pipe. Electrical telpher initiates the cargo cage movements. This device is allowed to mantle either on the top of the shaft or separately.
The cargo lift could be installed on the pit (for the cage to move to the floor level) or some flat basement. The shaft is faced either with metal sheets or some other materials.
Such cargo lifters have a wide range of use. They can be used at a plant or factory doing transportation the readymade items, materials, etc. between the floors, they can do goods acceptance and conveyance to the salesroom, plus many many other applications.

Frieght elevator secure operation is guaranteed by the following devices:
